I had the same issue. Got the OpenSSL binaries (latest is openssl-1.0.2q-x64_86-win64). Extracted it and took the libeay32.dll file out of there, put it in c;\dev\MapWinGIS folder, overwriting the one it came with. Seems to be working great now. (with all of 10 minutes of testing :wink:

edit: So far so good with the newer .dll file. App seems a little snappier, too.
