Whether within or between layers, I find that old and new versions of MapWindow allow exactly overlapped pasting of copied points, but copied lines end up displaced slightly, sideways, or up and down, although at the correct angle and length. Furthermore, where more than one line shape in a layer are connected and copied (e.g. segments of a winding road), they ‘explode’ when pasted.
Can anyone help me paste a line/lines as an exact overlay of the original/s?
