AxMap.MaxExtents is only readoly

I am trying to set the MaxExtents using vb.net however VS2015 claims it is a readonly property but according to the documentation it should be possible to set it. I am using version 5.0.1.0

I think what you want is the Extents property rather than MapExtents.
