How do i select discontinuous multishapes Through the CTRL key

The above code can only select a single shape, or box select all shapes in the specified area.
What should I do to achieve the effect I want？

Hello @binge , and welcome.

Have made an initial selection, you should be able to hold down the CTRL key and make additional selections, without clearing the first. Is that not working for you?
