Trying to replace 5.2 with 5.3, it seems that adding 5.3 to the toolbox does not automatically add a reference to the project. Does anybody else run into this issue?
There may be an issue with the Win framework? I tried 4.7.2 and 4.8, neither works (see attached screenshot)
This issue has now been resolved. Not very elegant, but … Delete (comment out) all references to your old (e.g. AXMap1) object from your designer. Delete the AxMapWinGIS and MapWinGIS from the project references. Uninstall 5.2, install 5.3 and add the MapWinGIS 5.3 object back into the Toolbox (this should also add the two project references back).
